• Compact Heat Exchangers: This unit will cover the design and analysis of compact heat exchangers, including plate heat exchangers, spiral heat exchangers, and printed circuit heat exchangers.
• Heat Transfer Enhancement: This unit will cover various methods to enhance heat transfer, including extended surfaces, surface roughness, and porous media.
• Numerical Heat Transfer: This unit will cover the use of numerical methods to analyze heat transfer, including finite difference, finite volume, and finite element methods.
